Natus Vincere has etched their name in the annals of Counter-Strike history by clinching the inaugural CS2 Major championship.

With a combination of strategic prowess and individual brilliance, they navigated through fierce competition to claim the coveted title. This triumph not only marks a monumental achievement for NaVi but also heralds a new era of competitive CS2.

Natus Vincere 2-1 FaZe Clan

Kicking off the Grand Final on FaZe’s pick of Ancient, FaZe started off strong with the pistol. But NaVi had a very strong T-side which allowed them to end the first half 7-5. They continued this momentum into the second half. Although FaZe managed to pull back a few more rounds, it was NaVi that closed out the map at 13-9.

FaZe answered back on NaVi’s pick of Mirage. It was complete dominance from Karrigan and his team, as they won ten rounds in a row to end the first half at a dominant 10-2. It was more of the same in the second half. NaVi were not allowed a single round on their CT-side, as FaZe Clan won the map at 13-2.

Going on to the decider, Inferno, NaVi were not fazed by their earlier loss. Showing off a monstrous CT-side, NaVi won seven rounds right off the bat, and closed out the first half 9-3. They carried this momentum through to the second half. This time, not allowing FaZe a single round on their CT-side. Off the back of a spectacular performance by Valerij "b1t" Vakhovsjkyj, NaVi closed out the map and the series at a dominant 13-3.
