Happy Bomb Squad: M80 Valorant add French Star Happy as the Coach

The North American Esports Organisation, founded by XSET Co-Founder and ex-COO Marco Mereu, M80 adds another piece to the Valorant roster. The team brings in Legendary French CS player Vincent "Happy" Schopenhauer as the head coach for the roster.

Knights NA Challengers recently invited the M80 Valorant roster to compete in the main event. M80 joined the likes of TSM, the Guard, G2, Faze Clan, and Shopify Rebellion. The squad will debut on February 1 with the start of Split 1 of NA challengers.

Who is Vincent "Happy" Schopenhauer?

Vincent "Happy" Schopenhauer is a French CS/Valorant player who has been competing since 2007 and has a lot of experience. Starting in CS Source, Happy was amongst the talented CS professionals and made a name for himself in the game playing for 3DMAX and Very Games.

He transitioned to CSGO and, after playing for various rosters, formed the team LDLC. The team disbanded, and Happy jumped around the rosters but eventually made team LDLC again. This time the team went on to win the Dreamhack Winter 2014 Major beating Ninjas in Pyjamas 2-1. Team EnVyUs picked up Team LDLC and, in the first french shuffle, traded Shox and SmithZz for KennyS and apEX. With Team EnVyUs, Happy won the Cluj-Napoca Major and joined an exhaustive list of people to win two majors.

After the major win, Happy stayed with the roster but struggles ensued. Eventually, after not winning much in the large majority of the rest of his career, he decided to switch to Valorant in 2020. Happy and Ex6tenz formed StartedFromCS, which later disbanded. After a while, Happy joined Giants, Excel, and BDS. He will join the M80 Squad as the Head Coach alongside Coach Gunter.
