What Is LTA Fantasy?

LTA Fantasy is a free manager-style game that allows fans to build teams using professional players from the LTA North and South Conferences. Each week, participants create lineups that score points based on the real-world performance of players in official matches, creating a dynamic and engaging way to follow the competitive scene.

The key difference that made LTA Fantasy stand out during its Split 2 debut was complete freedom of choice: you can draft players from any team in either conference, rewarding those with comprehensive knowledge of both leagues. This cross-conference approach has proven popular with fans, as it encourages broader engagement with the entire LTA ecosystem.

How to Get Started with LTA Fantasy

Account Creation and Team Setup

To participate, simply visit ltafantasy.com and log in with your Riot ID. The registration process remains the same as during the successful Split 2 launch:

  1. Choose your favorite team, which will determine which league you're automatically enrolled in
  2. Create your team with a custom name and customizable shield
  3. Start with a budget of 50 coins to build your first lineup

Budget System and Market Dynamics

The financial system that proved popular during Split 2 continues unchanged for Split 3. Each player has a coin value that varies weekly based on their performance in matches. This means:

  • Players who perform well see their value increase
  • Players with poor performance become cheaper
  • Your budget increases or decreases based on the value of players you own

The market closes every Saturday at 9 AM PT and reopens on Tuesdays at 8 AM PT, allowing for strategic adjustments between rounds.

Detailed Scoring System of the LTA Fantasy

The scoring system that was refined during Split 2 remains consistent for Split 3. All players, regardless of position, receive points for:

  • Damage Share (≥30%): +3 points
  • Victory with 10k+ gold: +2 points
  • Perfect game (no deaths and KDA ≥5): +3 points

Position-Specific Bonuses

Each position has specific criteria that value their unique contributions:

Exclusive Rewards for LTA Fantasy players

Strategic Tips for LTA Fantasy in Split 3

  1. Leverage Split 2 Experience
    • Players who participated during Split 2 can apply lessons learned about budget management and player value tracking. The experience gained during the beta phase provides valuable insights into market dynamics and scoring patterns.
  2. Adaptability is Key
    • The new Split 3 format requires adaptability in roster construction. Strategic diversification across different teams and playstyles offers greater point stability, while the increased game frequency creates more opportunities for both big wins and strategic pivots.
  3. Focus on Clutch Performers
    • Teams in elimination scenarios during Split 3 can generate explosive performances. Identifying opportunities where teams face "do or die" situations can result in exceptional scores from players who rise to the occasion.

Put Your League of Legends Knowledge to Test!

LTA Fantasy's successful Split 2 debut demonstrated its power to elevate fan engagement to new heights, allowing each participant to prove their understanding of the competitive League of Legends scene. Now, with Split 3 representing the most crucial phase of the season, the platform offers an even greater opportunity to showcase strategic thinking and deep game knowledge.

The evolution from Split 2's introduction to Split 3's high-stakes environment means that every roster decision carries more weight, every player choice becomes more strategic, and every point scored moves you closer to joining the elite group of top performers. With the foundation established during its successful debut, LTA Fantasy is ready to deliver its most compelling experience yet as the road to Worlds 2025 unfolds.
