DRX comes in with a lineup drawn mostly from their academy. Their brightest star comes in the form of former T1 ADC Teddy, who will have his work cut out for him on this roster. Facing off against them is Nongshim, a team comprised largely of the same team from last year.

Gen.G vs T1 [11.30am CET // 17.1]

Three-time defending LCK Champions face off against the newest World Champions. While T1 may have run it back with the same faces, Gen.G has been doing some workshopping in the off-season, bringing on some new fierce talent in the form of Canyon, Kiin, and Lehends to fire themselves up.

OKSavingsBank BRION vs Dplus KIA [9am CET // 18.1]

Dplus is bringing the heat this season with Showmaker, Kingen, and Aiming leading the charge. Against them stands OK Brion, running it back with a mix of old and new talent. The arrival of gideon and Envyyy may just be enough to activate Morgan, so this matchup certainly has the makings of a spicy one.

KT Rolster vs FearX [11.30am CET // 18.1]

KT Rolster is running into 2024 with an old DRX special, bringing on Pyosik, Deft, and Beryl to round out their roster. This exciting combo once shook the League world. Can they do it again? On the other side of the Rift, FearX (formerly Liiv Sandbox) bring back their roster from 2023 with a few new faces.

Hanwha Life Esorts vs DRX [9am CET // 19.1]

Hanwha Life becomes Gen.G 2.0 with new jungler Peanut and top laner Doran. Combined with former World Champion Zeka and ADC mega star Viper, its a deadly recipe for success. Should be a clean series against DRX.

T1 vs Kwangdong Freecs [11.30am CET // 19.1]

Lastly, we have Kwandong Freecs, bringing it back with their old roster from 2023, and implementing veteran Jungler Cuzz to take the reins. How will they fare against T1?
