The DPC Winter Tour for China officially resumed on 31st January. The matches in the region were put on hold to allow fans and players to spend some time together with their loved ones for the Chinese New Year.

The other regions have already concluded their Division I matches and have crowned the representatives for the Lima Major. Two more teams have qualified along with Team Aster for the upcoming Lima Major, as fans eagerly wait to witness which team from China will grab the final available slot.

PSG.LGD still have what it takes

PSG.LGD proved that they are still a force to reckon with, even though their most renowned player Wang “Ame” Chunyu is on break for this DPC season. The organization consists mostly of new players going into this DPC season building the team around their midlane player Cheng “NothingToSay” Jin Xiang.

In their crucial series against Xtreme Gaming, Xtreme, with their hard carry in Morphling, managed to take a game against PSG.LGD. However, PSG.LGD managed to come out top on the back of Guo “shiro” Xuanang’s hard carry Lone Druid in Game 2 and Cheng “NothingToSay” Jin Xiang’s midlane Tinker in Game 3, securing their ticket for the Lima Major.

Knights secured their Lima Major despite hacking allegations

Even though Knights is a relatively new team in the scene, the team consists of notorious names like Vincent "AlaCrity" Hiew and Su "Flyby" Lei. They managed to look strong in their debut season winning against PSG.LGD however lost to Team Aster.

In their series against Dawn Gaming, the team took a clean 2-0 victory securing their ticket to the Lima Major.

Knights are however under vision-hacking allegations due to the team’s accuracy in countering wards brought up by the casters. As a result of the allegations, the organizers of the Chinese DPC, Perfect World conducted an investigation report and the report has been sent to Valve.

Although Valve is yet to make an official statement regarding the allegations, if found guilty, Knights could not only lose their ticket to the Lima Major but all of its players. The organization would then get permanently banned from current and future Valve events.

There are still two series left to play in the DPC Winter Tour for the China region to decide which team will grab the final available slot for the Lima Major.
