Karmine Corp will not be attending MSI 2025. Despite a stellar debut year so far for the LEC’s newest hot prospect Caliste “Caliste” Henry Hennebert, Karmine Corp’s efforts to attend the second international event of 2025 have fallen short following their defeat at the hands of Movistar KOI.

A Bitter Loss

In a series that went the distance, Movistar KOI emerged victorious in this encounter once again, proving themselves perhaps the ultimate kryptonite against the French side. In their second faceoff, once again, Karmine Corp fell short despite going the full 5 games both times.

Having finished first in the Regular Season, Karmine Corp was a confident lock for a second international appearance this year for many in what would have been a pivotal turning point for the organization in their second year in the LEC. Despite that, their Playoffs run proved more hard-fought than anticipated, facing fierce resistance in their opening game against MKOI.

Karmine Corp battled back fiercely in the Lower Bracket, dispatching of Team Heretics and Fnatic in their final bid for the last LEC spot to MSI following G2’s victory in the Upper Bracket. Alas, it was in vain, as they once again faced MKOI in the pivotal series, faltering to the Spanish side for a second, and final, time.

No Repeat Internationals

In their first ever international appearance earlier this year at First Stand, Karmine Corp made a bold run to the Grand Finals, losing to Hanwha Life Esports. With a strong Spring Season, many had hoped Karmine Corp would have another chance to bid for an international title, but it appears there will be no repeat for the prospective challengers.
