In a shocking upset, CTBC Flying Oyster dismantled Karmine Corp on the second day of First Stand 2025, securing a decisive 2-0 victory over the LEC champions.

CTBC Flying Oyster 2-0 Karmine Corp

After a narrow defeat to Team Liquid on Day 1, Karmine Corp entered this matchup as heavy favorites against the Pacific champions. However, the series told a completely different story.

In Game 1, CFO’s bot lane ran rampant over the Caliste-Targamas duo. The French side further struggled to contest objectives, frequently misplaying fights and ultimately getting crushed by the Taiwanese squad.

Game 2 was no different. Doggo’s Miss Fortune delivered a standout performance, tearing through KC’s defenses and posting incredible stats to close out the series in commanding fashion.

LEC Champions Off to a Nightmare Start

With this loss, Karmine Corp are 0-2 down in the First Stand 2025 round-robin stage. Losing the two games they were expected to win has put the French in an uncomfortable position.

Their remaining matches are against LPL’s Top Esports and LCK’s Hanwha Life Esports, both tournament favorites. While they were initially projected to make the playoffs, their current form doesn’t inspire much confidence.
