GIANTX and top laner Andrei "Odoamne" Pascu have mutually agreed to part ways, granting the Romanian player the space he needs to assess his options.

A rough year of GIANTX

Odoamne was moved to the bench on GIANTX for the 2024 LEC Summer Season following the team's disappointing Winter and Spring seasons, where GIANTX finished in 8th and 6th place respectively.

Coming into the Summer Season with hopes that new top laner Antonio "Th3Antonio" Espinosa Bejarano would change the dynamic on the team enough to elevate their level of play, GIANTX finished in 7th place in an underwhelming finish to the year in League of Legends.

With GIANTX' loss to G2 in the lower bracket of the LEC Season Finals, the time has come for the organization to start thinking about next year.

Odoamne looks to choose a door

As for Odoamne, the Romanian player has featured repeatedly on the LEC show over the course of the year. Contributing mainly as an analyst, fans and pundits alike have been delighted with the top laner's presence and contributions to the cast.

A player with nearly 10 years of experience in tier 1 League of Legends, Odoamne is sure to bring a valuable set of skills to any team looking to either fill out their roster or add onto their coaching staff.

It remains unclear at the time whether Odoamne's future lies within the realm of casting, playing or coaching.

Luckily for Odoamne, however, he will now have the time to focus on the voices that call him most, and answer accordingly.
