The FISSURE Universe: Episode 5 squeezed itself between PGL Wallachia Season 5 and the upcoming Esports World Cup. After a fast-paced Group Stage, we now shift our focus to the Playoffs, where the top teams will fight for the title over the next couple of days.

PARIVISION secured first place in Group A, although their 14-match win streak came to an end after a draw with Shopify Rebellion. On the other hand, Team Liquid topped Group B with three wins and one draw, tying against Aurora Gaming.

FISSURE Universe Episode 5: Group Stage Results

As mentioned, the Group Stage for FISSURE Universe Episode 5 has concluded. The top team from each group advanced to the Upper Bracket, while the second and third-place finishers entered the Lower Bracket, where they will fight for the chance to go towards the Grand Finals.

In Group A, PARIVISION advanced to the Upper Bracket, while Shopify Rebellion and Team Tidebound dropped to the Lower Bracket. These teams will need to fight their way through extra matches to earn a chance at redemption.

Meanwhile, Group B concluded with Team Liquid taking the Upper Bracket slot. Heroic and Aurora Gaming moved to the Lower Bracket and will face Team Tidebound and Shopify Rebellion respectively in the first round.

FISSURE Universe Episode 5: Playoff Schedule

The Playoffs begin on July 3rd and will conclude on July 4th. Most of the action will happen on the first day, with all matches except the Lower Bracket Finals and Grand Finals being played. Here's the full schedule for the first day:

As usual, the most anticipated match on the first day will be the Upper Bracket Finals between Team Liquid and PARIVISION. While Team Liquid is still playing with a stand-in replacing Insania, PARIVISION enters the series at full strength with their main lineup.

Another intriguing match will be Shopify Rebellion vs Aurora Gaming. Shopify grabbed second place in Group A at the last moment, and now they’ll be tested against one of the strongest teams from the most dominant region in Dota 2 at the moment.
