After barely making it through the Swiss Stage, Los Ratones are ready to continue their pursuit of the Golden Road at the 2025 EMEA Masters Summer Playoffs. The bracket is set, and Vitality.Bee awaits to take on Caedrel and co. up first on Saturday, October 11th.

Los Ratones' Tough Road Ahead

If Los Ratones want to complete the Golden Road by winning every single EMEA Tier-2 trophy in 2025, they will need to lock in. Despite making it to the EMEA Masters Summer main event at the last minute through the Last Chance Qualifier, Vitality.Bee have leveled up just at the right time. Having breezed through the Swiss Stage with a flawless 4-0 record, this Vitality squad will pose a serious threat to Los Ratones in their path ahead.

Even if Caedrel's team manages to defeat the French side in their first Bo5 of the playoffs, they will need to take on the winners of Galions vs Barça eSports up next in the Quarterfinals. It's worth noting that Los Ratones has already lost to both of these squads in the Swiss Stage just days ago, and will therefore need to claim revenge in the Quarterfinals no matter the opponent.

Before thinking about revenge, though, Los Ratones will need to dispatch Vitality.Bee in what promises to be a competitive Bo5.

After a rather shaky series of games in the Swiss Stage, Los Ratones now have little time to sort out their issues and find their form in time for the start of the playoffs.

Win or Lose, LEC

Though the prospect of achieving the Golden Road is certainly an enticing one, the truth is that the EMEA Masters Summer trophy is not of particular importance to Los Ratones. In fact, win or lose, the team has already done enough throughout the year in the Tier-2 scene to secure their spot in the first LEC split of the coming year.

Regardless, a team as stacked with talent and experience as Los Ratones will not be happy with anything other than first place at this EMEA Masters tournament, and will no doubt do everything in their power to close out the year in style.
