South Korean organization DRX has officially unveiled their LCK 2024 roster. Having chosen to promote from within, their 2024 roster is comprised of a mixture of Academy and Challenger talents from within their own ranks. The only ones to remain from their 2023 roster is Kim “Rascal” Kwang-hee and Lee “Juhan” Ju-han.

DRX 2024 LCK Starting Lineup

  • Top Lane: Kim “Rascal” Kwang-hee
  • Jungle/Sub: Lee “Juhan” Ju-han

Plenty of Farewells

Earlier this week, DRX parted ways with Jungler Kim “Croco” Dong-beom, Mid Laner Yoo “FATE” Su-hyeok, AD Carry Seo deokdam” Dae-gil, and Support Cho “BeryL” Geon-hee. BeryL especially was a sad one, as the two-time World Champion has been with the organization since 2021, and was the final remnant of the 2022 winning squad to depart.

DRX also said farewell to coaches Kim “Gizmo” Young-jin and Shin “Shine” Dong-wook, wishing them the best for their future. Shine had led the DRX players since 2022, while Gizmo came on to the team last year to develop the 2023 squad.

Developing from Within

Unlike many of their fellow LCK organizations, DRX has elected to develop and promote from within their ranks. Boasting both an Academy and Challenger team, they have access to more than sufficient talent.

Sponge, who will be taking over from Croco, is a former DRX Challengers player who will finally receive his moment in the LCK. The same is true for SeTab and Pleata, who both also come from the DRX Challengers roster. New AD Carry Paduck spent the vast majority of the last two years in DRX Academy. He had a brief stint on the Challengers roster as a temporary sub, however, now he will get his chance to shine on the main team.

Lastly, kyeahoo is a starter for the DRX Academy roster, similar to Paduck. However, he has briefly joined the main team in 2023 as a starter. Now he will perform as the sub for the main team, stepping back for SeTab.
