Ever since entering the league in the summer of 2018, Jeong "Chovy" Ji-hoon has long stood as one of the best League of Legends players in the world, let alone the LCK. Now, however, the South Korean star is doing the unthinkable by racking up a flawless string of performances in what is one of the most competitive leagues on the planet.

Chovy runs the LCK

Over the course of the first few rounds of play at the LCK 2025 Season, Gen.G have dominated the competition. Currently in first place in the standings, Chovy and the rest of the squad have now won 8 consecutive series to start the season, all while putting up a staggering 16-3 game record.

The star of the show, though, is no doubt the man in the mid lane himself. One of the most dominant laners the game has ever seen, Chovy has now gone deathless over the course of 7 consecutive games in the LCK. Across this spree, the star player has amassed a total scoreline of 43/0/64. That's right, over the last 7 games Gen.G has played in the South Korean league, Chovy has put up a KDA of 107.

And perhaps the most impressing part? Chovy's flawless numbers come off the back of six different champions (Ryze, Ahri, Viktor, Taliyah, Sylas, and Galio), putting the full extent of his champion pool on display. Thank you, Fearless Draft.

Admittedly, this flawless series has come against some of the weakest teams in the LCK, as Gen.G's last four opponents include DRX, DN Freecs, OKSavingsBank BRION, and BNK FearX.

If Gen.G want to make sure they get to attend MSI 2025 for a chance at securing back-to-back MSI titles, then Chovy will need to find a way to keep up this level of performance against some of the toughest teams in the LCK.
