The DreamLeague Season 20 is underway. However, most teams used subs, as most players faced issues securing visas into Europe. However, for OG, it’s another story. As one of their players stepped down to the assistant coach, the hard support position became vacant for OG. However, unlike most teams, OG had a legendary player as a substitute for their team.

Sébastien "Ceb" Debs again returns as a standin for OG as the team’s position 5. His workload will surely increase as he is also an active member of Old G, a team currently playing in Division II WEU DPC. Although his return brought hype to all the fans, the results were disappointing. The team drew their debut series against Beastcoast and lost to Team Aster on the first day of DreamLeague Season 20.

Tied against Beastcoast

OG went with a greedy draft in game 1. They drafted a midlane Morphling and a safelane hard carry Terrorblade. Although they had a greedy midlaner, OG played actively with their midlane Morph as he dominated the midlane. However, Beastcoast doesn’t flinch as their safelane Medusa soaks up the available farm on the map. OG dominated the game, but they couldn’t find a way to take objectives. As their Medusa came online, Beastcoast took objectives. Eventually, at 51 minutes, Beastcoast took game 1.

OG strikes back harder in game 2. They applied relentless pressure during the laning stage, and Ceb made perfect rotations to the midlane. Snowballing their advantage, they carefully transitioned to midgame and took objectives. They were cautious about making any crucial mistakes. Eventually, at 37 minutes, OG took game 2.

Emperor Xiu Mail's Dominance

The series against Team Aster was one of the anticipated matches for the day. It was the reunion of the 2021 OG's roster. However, it didn’t go well for OG. Despite getting dominated and forced out of the lane during the laning stage, Sumail made marvellous plays at the midgame, enabling his team. His team also played around him, and at 36 minutes, Team Aster took game 1.

Team Aster played fast-tempo game 2. Aster played methodically, taking calculated fights in the mid-game. OG grew desperate as their hero hit the item timing but could not force the fights. As the game progressed, Aster slowly sieged OG's high ground. At 44 minutes, Aster took game 2.

Ceb had once standin for OG at the ESL One Stockholm Major. Back then, the team was in much rougher spot, but they managed to pull through and made a legendary run, eventually becoming the ESL One Stockholm Major champions.
