Stealth is encouraged. Stay quiet, eliminate only when needed, and use your suppressed weapons. Dead bodies can alert patrols, so be smart. Soap may occasionally assist in taking down nearby guards if they get too close to your position.

If a Russian UAZ patrol spots you near the depot, you’ll have 30 seconds to reach your next objective before the plan is blown. You can destroy the UAZ early with explosives or heavy firepower if needed. If you're too slow, the C4 gets compromised and the mission becomes harder to complete without combat.

Inside the Hangar

Once the C4 is placed, you move to a large hangar. Inside is the crashed satellite. Soap kills the lone guard and tells you to go upstairs to retrieve the ACS module. The module is located inside a small control room on the upper level of the hangar.

After you grab it, things go wrong. Russian soldiers swarm in. Major Petrov, the base commander, threatens to kill Soap unless your team surrenders. You can’t reveal yourself. You must act fast. Soap tells you to stay hidden, and failing to follow these instructions will cause the mission to fail instantly.

Roach pulls out the detonator. Wait too long, and Soap dies. Trigger it before Petrov finishes counting down from five. The explosion throws the base into chaos. It's now a full firefight. The blast acts as a diversion, giving you a few seconds to eliminate enemies and regroup with Soap.

Fighting Through the Base

With the hangar breached, you and Soap must fight your way to the extraction point. Use downed aircraft and debris for cover. Soap supports you and also asks for cover as you go. The cleared blizzard now makes both you and the enemies more visible during the gunfight.

Outside, the storm clears. Visibility improves, but enemy resistance increases. A BMP-2 vehicle is now active, so you’ll need to move quickly and avoid open areas to survive.

Snowmobile Escape

After you slide down a slope, enemy snowmobiles ambush you. Kill the drivers, but stay clear—those snowmobiles keep moving after the drivers die. If one hits you, it kills you instantly. The game punishes you for standing in the wrong spot, especially when abandoned vehicles coast straight toward you.

You grab a snowmobile and flee with Soap. The escape moves fast and hits hard. Enemy snowmobiles and a helicopter chase you through the snow. Soap leads the way while you fight and steer along narrow, snow-covered paths.

You use a G18 with unlimited ammo. The game reloads it automatically after each magazine. Focus on driving, but shoot when you get the chance. Since you can’t reload the G18 manually, you need to time your bursts carefully to keep your speed up.

You hit one final jump over a massive gorge and reach the landing zone. Kilo Six-One meets you there. You secure the landing zone and extract the ACS module to complete the mission.
