The two-time Worlds Champion Cho "BeryL" Geon-hee has returned to Dplus KIA after a tumultuous year with KT Rolster.

BeryL is the second player to join Dplus KIA LCK 2025 roster, the first being the LCK CL top laner Jeon “Siwoo” Si-woo. The two will replace Kingen and Kellin on the roster, marking the only adjustments the organization will make for the 2025 season.

With these additions the Dplus KIA 2025 roster will be as follows:

BeryL previously spent four years with Dplus (then Damwon), winning the LCK Summer and Worlds 2020 alongside ShowMaker. BeryL later joined DRX and became the second player to win Worlds on different organizations (and the first to do so without any association with T1).

After his second title in 2022, BeryL has had mediocre results. He spent 2023 with DRX, unfortunately the roster struggled during the regular season and failed to make it to Worlds through regional finals.

He then spent 2024 with KT Rolster where he once again failed to make the Worlds’ stage. After making three Worlds’ finals in a row, the past two years have been rough on BeryL.

The return to Dplus KIA might recapture the magic they had in 2020-21, paving the way for the roster to potentially make another deep international run.
