Back To Back: JDG vs BLG - LPL Playoff Recap
JDG outclassed BLG on the rift, securing their third LPL title as an organization and their second title in a row. The back-to-back champions now head to MSI as the number one seed from China.

JD GAMING vs BILIBILI GAMING (3-1)
GAME 1:
Things stayed quiet until the first dragon spawned. JDG arrived first, but BLG’s jungler Xun managed to steal the dragon with a last second smite. However, Ruler proceeded to annihilate BLG with his Jinx and won the team fight. Kanavi used this pressure to control the mid game, getting his laners ahead, and securing the next two dragons. At 23:00, BLG started up the Baron but Knight hit a massive Annie stun, giving Ruler a Jinx reset, and making sure JDG cleaned up the fight and took the Baron for themselves. They closed out the game just a few minutes later with Ruler’s Jinx sitting on a 7/0/9 score line and a 700g bounty.
GAME 2:
BLG went back to a team composition that seems comfortable to them. Locking in the Kindred for Xun and pairing it with Yagao’s Galio. The pairing made a play on to Knight that resulted in a trade in kills to both teams. BLG’s support ON locked in his infamous Blitzcrank and managed to snag Ruler under his turret, setting him behind. Things got heated at the second dragon fight where Missing found a great Rakan engage right as the Kindred ultimate was ending, giving his team the dragon and the gold lead. JDG used this lead to start the Baron as soon as it spawned. They secured the buff, decimated BLG, and ended the game at a ridiculous time of 22:45.
GAME 3:
Despite the embarrassingly fast loss in Game 2, BLG fought back hard to secure a chance at a reverse sweep. Xun made a great early gank that secured a kill onto Knight and did the same to 369 a few minutes later. After picking off Knight once again, BLG were able to get the Baron buff at 20:00. Bin was quietly scaling the entire game on his Gwen pick and once he got his third item, he became an absolute raid boss. He single handedly won the dragon fight at 28:00 and sent the series to a fourth game.
GAME 4:
Things looked promising for BLG in the draft. Bin had the confidence to lock in his famous Fiora pick and it felt like there was a chance he might solo carry again like he did in the previous game. But this final game was all about his lane-opponent, 369. At the fight for the first Rift Herald, he had an amazing engage on Gragas that caught out both Yagao and Xun. JDG snowballed this lead heavily, picking off members left and right with their Ahri plus Wukong combo. Ruler was able to farm up on his Jinx and eventually showed up big, dealing loads of damage, and silencing the hopes of BLG. They secured the Chemtech Soul and ended the game at 36:00, making JDG your LPL Spring Champions!
