After a grueling tournament bracket, the final two teams of VCT Americas 2023 LCQ have been found. They will go head-to-head in the Grand Finals for a final shot at qualifying for VALORANT Champions 2023.

Lower Bracket Semi Finals:

In the Lower Bracket Semi Finals, it was Leviatan who managed to get the best of Sentinels. The Argentine outfit managed to sweep the floor at 2-0 against the North Americans.

The teams started off on Fracture, where both were quite evenly matched in the first half. But Leviatan pulled off a stellar defensive side to take the map 13-8. Moving on to Split, it was a totally one-sided matchup. Sentinels could only manage to salvage 4 rounds on their attack. Leviatan had an relentless attack, and got a perfect second half to end the map at 13-4.

Sentinels have been eliminated from VCT Americas 2023 LCQ. Meanwhile, Leviatan move ahead to the Lower Bracket Finals.

Upper Bracket Final:

On the winners side of the LCQ Bracket, it was Cloud9 who took on KRU Esports. KRU did not fail to amaze fans and haters alike, as they pulled off an amazing series to beat Cloud9 2-1.

Cloud9 started off strong on Ascent, where they managed to outdo the South American team and take the map 13-4. However, KRU returned the favor on Pearl. The South American team pulled off a perfect first half on their attack side to end the first half at 12-0. Cloud9 managed to salvage 4 rounds, before conceding the map at 13-4.

Final map of the series was Haven, and Cloud9’s mental seemed to have been completely destroyed. KRU made the most of this situation, managing to take the lead in the first half, and carried the game to victory at 13-6.

KRU are the first Grand Finalists of the VCT Americas 2023 LCQ. Meanwhile, Cloud9 have been relegated to the Lower Bracket, where they will face Leviatan, for another shot at the Grand Finals.

Lower Bracket Final:

The final matchup of the Lower Bracket was between Cloud9 and Leviatan. But it came as a shock to all as Leviatan managed to beat Cloud9 3-2 in their BO5 series.

Cloud9 were quick to take the first 2 maps Lotus and Pearl at 13-7 and 13-9 respectively. But Leviatan were not thwarted by this. They held on and managed to pull it back on Split and Haven. Leviatan toko both maps at 13-11 and 13-10 respectively.

The final map of the series was Bind, where neither team was willing to give up easily. However, it was Leviatan who managed to find their momentum first. They had a decent first half at 7-5, and then carried onwards to victory at 13-7.

Cloud9 have been eliminated from VCT Americas 2023 LCQ. While Leviatan moved on ahead into the Grand Finals, where they will go head-to-head against KRU for a shot at Champions.
