With Episode 8 Act II, Valorant will introduce the new skin bundle, Primordium. The demon-theme bundle will feature a new melee and four weapon skins.

Valorant Primordium Bundle Information

The Primordium bundle features the following items:

  • Weapons
    • Vandal
    • Phantom
    • Spectre
    • Shorty
    • Blades of Primordia (Melee)
  • Accessories
    • 1 card
    • 1 spray (animated with VFX)
    • 1 gun buddy

The new Blades of Primordia melee are dual swords with a unique attack, equip and custom running animation. Each skin will feature four color variants.

The four color variants are:

  • Primary
  • Green
  • Blue
  • Gold

The weapon skins feature a custom firing sound, VFX and SFX. Similar to the Cryostasis bundle, Primordium also features a heating and cooldown effect visible to the player.

According to Jean Luc Tin Sive, Senior Game Producer, Valorant, the skin visually changes based on the player's actions.

“With this skin, we wanted the weapons to visually change based on the players’ actions. We had this idea of the creature/demon on the weapon getting more and more “angry” as the player attacked (fired their gun). Thematic-wise we anchored it around dark fantasy knowing how our players loved Prelude to Chaos. We created a new melee archetype (dual swords) with a unique running animation to reinforce that commanding feeling players should have as they charge into the battlefield. “

Each variant also features a finisher VFX variant. The ‘Blades of Primordia’ features unique inspect, attack (left and right click) animations.

How much will the bundle cost?

The bundle costs 8700 VP and will cost around US$85. Individual skins will cost 2175VP and the ‘Blades of Primordia’ melee cost 4350 VP.

When with the Valorant Primordium bundle release?

The bundle releases with the launch of Episode 8 Act II. The release date is set on 5th March, 2024.
