VALORANT New Reaver 3.0 Skin Bundle: Skins, Expected Price, Release Date, and More
VALORANT’s beloved Reaver collection is set to return in Patch 12.01. This time around, however, the bundle will consist of only two skins: Melee (Butterfly Knife) and Bandit. The Reaver 3.0 collection also includes a player card, gun buddy, and spray.
Riot Games has a proven strategy of releasing sequels to popular skin bundles, yet we don’t often see a third iteration. To date, only Magepunk, VALORANT GO!, and RGX 11z Pro hold that distinction. Leaks suggest the revered Reaver collection is next in line, with two new additions expected in the upcoming Patch 12.01. Here's everything we know about the bundle so far.
VALORANT Reaver 3.0 Weapons and Variants
As seen in VALORANT's promotional video released in China, the Reaver 3.0 skins will have the same variants as the previous iterations: Default (Purple), Red, Black, and White. The animation and VFX also look similar.
A notable design upgrade in Reaver 3.0 involves the finisher. In previous bundles, the signature skyward vortex was always purple in color, regardless of the equipped variant. But for the two new skins, the finisher's visual effects will match the color of your chosen variant, which many in the community had been requesting since the Reaver 2.0 bundle.
When Is Reaver 3.0 Coming?
The new Reaver collection will be added in-game during VALORANT Patch 12.01. The two skins, along with the player card, spray, and gun buddy, are expected to arrive on January 22, 2026.
Expected Price of Reaver 3.0
Riot Games has not yet confirmed the pricing for the upcoming Reaver collection. Historically, Reaver skins have been classified as Premium-tier, with the individual weapon skins costing 1,775 VP. Based on that, it would be fair to expect them to cost the same. However, there is also the possibility of a small price increase, which could see the Bandit skin costing 2,175 VP.
The Reaver Knife featured in the first bundle cost 3,550 VP, while the Reaver Karambit was priced at 4,350 VP. Based on this, the Reaver Butterfly Knife could cost 4,350 VP. We will update the pricing once Riot confirms it.
Reaver Run It Back Bundle Set To Release Alongside New Collection
In addition to the new bundle, Riot Games will welcome back some of the more popular skins from the two previous Reaver collections. This includes the Vandal and Guardian skins from Episode 1, and the Phantom and Odin skins from Episode 5.
Run It Back bundles in VALORANT temporarily bring highly demanded skins back to the Featured tab of the store, allowing you to purchase them without waiting for them to show up in your daily Offers section. Similar to past Run It Back bundles, this one will be available at a discounted rate if you wish to purchase it as a bundle.
