VALORANT Champions 2023 continues to deliver exhilarating esports action as it strides into its sixth day of playoffs. The competitive fervor escalates as two high-stakes clashes take center stage, captivating fans around the world. The Upper Bracket Finals feature an electrifying showdown between Paper Rex and Evil Geniuses, both vying for a shot in the Grand Finals. Meanwhile, in a rematch that has the community buzzing, Fnatic and LOUD lock horns once again, this time in the Lower Bracket Semi Finals. With emotions running high and every move carrying immense weight, day six promises to be a rollercoaster ride of intense plays, tactical prowess, and unforgettable moments.

Upper Bracket Finals:

Game 1: Paper Rex vs Evil Geniuses

After a grueling 3 map series, PRX managed to take a hard fought victory against Evil Geniuses at 2-1.

Map 1: Ascent

PRX had a better first half on Ascent. They had a strong attack side, as they managed to win 4 of the first 5 rounds. EG tried fighting back, as they managed to claw back a few more rounds. But the first half ended 7-5 in favor of PRX.

However, EG had a terrific second half. They won the pistol, and secured the round right after. PRX could only take back 3 of the next 4 rounds. Before EG 5 round win streak to make the comeback possible, and take the map 13-10.

Map 2: Bind

Bind started off strong for EG. The North American outfitmanaged to take an early lead in the first half. PRX could only pull back 5 rounds in the half, before EG ended the half at 7-5.

The second hald was completely dominated by PRX. EG had a good start, as they managed to win 2 rounds right off the bat. But PRX showed off a defensive masterclass. They managed to win 8 rounds in a row, as they made the comeback, and won the map in a spectacular 13-9.

Map 3: Pearl

It all came down to Pearl. EG had a decent start, as they won 3 rounds right off the bat. But PRX answered back with a staggering 6 round win streak. EG manmage to salvage the first half, as they win the 3 remaining rounds to even it out at 6-6.

EG had another explosive start in the second half. They managed to win 5 rounds right off the bat. But PRX were not going to keep quiet. They pulled off a 5 round win streak of their own to equalize at 11-11. EG manage to win 1 round to get onto Map Point, but PRX deny them the victory, as they push the map into Overtime.

Both teams won their first attack side on Overtime. But PRX managed to secure the second defense round to win the map 15-13.

Paper Rex advance to the Grand Finals of VALORANT Champions 2023. Meanwhile, EG will have another chance, as they are relegated to the Lower Bracket Finals.

Lower Bracket Semifinals

Game 2: LOUD vs Fnatic

Giving us a rematch of the Grand Finals from LOCK//IN Sao Paulo, it was LOUD who managed to secure the win at 2-1 in the series.

Map 1: Split

LOUD had a strong start on Split. They started off by taking the pistol and 2 more rounds after that. Fnatic tried fighting back, as they manage to claw back 4 rounds. But LOUD put an  end to the half at 8-4.

The second half was completely dominated by LOUD. The Americas Champions won 5 rounds right off the bat. LOUD won the map at a dominant 13-4.

Map 2: Ascent

Fnatic managed to bounce back on Ascent. Even though LOUD had a strong start, winning 3 rounds right off the bat. Fnatic did not back down as they won back 3 rounds of their own. The Tokyo Champions managed to put up a fight as the first half ended 7-5 in favor of LOUD.

The second half was owned by Fnatic. They managed to win 4 rounds right off the bat. LOUD could only manage to claw back 2 rounds. Fnatic pulled off another 4 round win streak to take the map 13-9.

Map 3: Haven

It all came down to Haven. LOUD had a terrific start, as they managed to win 4 of the first 5 rounds. Fnatic fought back, as they managed to secure 3 more rounds. But LOUD took the lead in the first half. They ended the half at 8-4 off the back of a 4 round win streak.

Fnatic managed to win out the pistol in the second half. And they also secured the following round. But LOUD answered back by winning 2 rounds of their own. Fnatic managed to salvage 1 more round, before LOUD secure the map at 13-7 off of a 3 round win streak.

LOUD move ahead into the Lower Bracket Finals, as they stay alive to defend their Champions Legacy. Fnatic’s dreams have been crushed, as they are eliminated from VALORANT Champions 2023.

End of Day 6:
