With the star-studded roster that TES have on display, you’d expect WE to be a walkover. But the plucky-underdogs put up a valiant effort. Taking a game off of the super team almost a second one as well. TES still had their fair share of questionable plays but eventually won the series in four games. They will now have to prepare for a scrappy series against OMG on Sunday.

TOP ESPORTS vs. WORLD ELITE (3-1)

GAME 1: TES (1-0)

Within five minutes, it already looked like it was going to be one of those days for JackeyLove. He started the game off with two deaths, being put incredibly far behind of the WE bot lane. But Tian came to the rescue, secured a few early objectives, and got JackeyLove back on track. WE had a chance to close out the game. They worked hard to destroy the nexus but TES wouldn’t allow it. WE would spend the last ten minutes of the game trying to backdoor TES but failing over and over again, allowing TES to inevitably get ahead in gold, and close the game in a miraculous fashion.

GAME 2: TES (2-0)

After such a tragic loss, it’s hard not to assume WE’s mental was completely shot. Tian roamed the map securing leads in every lane. Setting up for a complete stomp, and TES delivered. At 15:00, they were up 8K gold. An ace at 21:00, opened the door for TES to walk down mid and set up for a potential 3-0. WE would have to have a complete mental-reset if they wanted any hope of a reverse sweep.

GAME 3: WE (2-1)

This time, Hope and Iwandy got their chance to play Lucian + Nami and looked a lot more comfortable than their bot lane opponents. TES's top laner Wayward displayed some great K'Sante team-fighting as he proved that his addition to the team over Qingtian is completely warranted. But Hope continued to body TES, sending us to a fourth game, and walking off with a 9/2/5 score line.

GAME 4: TES (3-1)

Tian Vi is simply terrifying to play against and I'm sure OMG will be taking this into account. He once again, set up his lanes to succeed with some early ganks. His team entrusted him to pick the fights he wanted and he put on a hell of a show. At 20:00 they were up almost 6K gold, and so WE decided to make a desperate Baron attempt and somehow came out on top. A beautiful Ryze ultimate from Shanks escorted his team to safety, keeping four members with Baron alive. However it was all for nothing as TES proceeded to take a fight after obtaining the Chemtech Soul, demolshing WE, and ending the series in style. It's safe to say the Tian is in form, but hopefully his bot lane performs up to par against OMG.
