Team Secret hit rock bottom during the DPC 2022-2023 Winter Tour. Despite the team finishing The International 2022 at the runner-up spot, the team performed poorly in their Division I debut playoffs. Team Secret was relegated to Division II for the Spring Tour at the end of the DPC 2022-2023 Winter Tour. Many people at that time thought the poor performance was due to Team Secret lacking their star player, Michał "Nisha" Jankowski, who parted ways with the team before the DPC 2022-2023 season to join Team Liquid.

Hard Climb Back Top

However, after disappointing results on their debut tour, Team Secret rebuilt their team. The team parted ways with their soft support Bakyt “ Zayac” Emilzhanov and offlaner  Roman “Resolut1on” Fominok, who is now a player of Old G. The team’s midlaner Miroslav “BOOM” Bičan took the offlane role. Armel “ Armel” Paul Tabios joined Team Secret as their new midlaner, and Daniyal “Yamich” Lazebnyy as their new soft support.

Team Secret had a slow start. The team won their debut match against Alliance in a 2-0 victory. However, the series was close. They won another series that followed Alliance, but the team began to show cracks in their series against D2 Hustlers. After losing to D2 Hustler, they performed dominantly in their remaining series. With solid drafts drafted by the veteran captain Clement “Puppey” Ivanov, they dominated their way to the top seed in Division II. Even Old G, a team consisting of two back-to-back TI Champions, was no match to them.

Superstitious Belifs

The team has a score of six wins and one loss at the end of Division II playoffs. They will get promoted to Division I for the Summer Tour. Ever since The International 2017, Team Secret has been slowly getting placed higher at their Ti runs.  They are ready for their uphill climb in securing their ticket to this year’s The International with their new roster.
