Spacestation Gaming (or SSG) has announced its new roster for the North America League 2023. The team has made significant changes, bringing in five new players to join Alec "Fultz" Fultz and Matthew "Hotancold" Stevens. The team has picked up the majority of the Astralis roster. Adding Roman "Forrest" Breaux, Jack "J9O" Buckard, Seth "Callout" Mik, and Adam "Mango" Pazner. Bryan "Merc" Wrzek, the Six Invitational 2021 champion, completes the roster. He was already looking for a team following TSM's departure from Rainbow Six Siege.

The Past:

The move comes after a disappointing 2022 season for Spacestation Gaming. Where they missed out on the Six Charlotte Major and the Six Berlin Major. The team slightly improved with the arrival of Alexander "Yeti" Lawson. But it wasn't enough to qualify for the Six Jönköping Major. However, the team managed to qualify for the Six Invitational 2023 after some good performances at the NA SI 2023 Closed Qualifier.

Despite qualifying for the Six Invitational 2023, SSG had a short run in Montreal, Canada. As they were sent back home by M80 in the second round of the lower bracket. Following this, the organization decided to make changes. They parted ways with Dylan "Bosco" Bosco, Nathanial "Rampy" Duvall, and Alexander "Yeti" Lawson. The changes also affected the staff team, as Justin "Lycan" Woods, Luke "Luke" Slota, and Zachary "Sov" Sites left the organization as well.

The Future:

The new roster has generated a lot of excitement, with fans hoping that the fresh faces can help the team achieve better results in the upcoming season. The addition of the Astralis roster is particularly noteworthy, as the team has had a successful run in European competitions. Roman "Forrest" Breaux, Jack "J9O" Buckard, Seth "Callout" Mik, and Adam "Mango" Pazner are all experienced players who bring a wealth of knowledge and skill to the team.

Bryan "Merc" Wrzek, the team's newest addition, is a highly regarded player in the Rainbow Six Siege community. He was a key member of the TSM roster that won the Six Invitational 2021. Fans are excited to see what he can do with his new team. The team will be led by Alec "Fultz" Fultz and Matthew "Hotancold" Stevens, who have been with SSG for a while.

Seth "Callout" Mik will serve as the team's coach, while Adam "Mango" Pazner will take on the role of analyst. Both have a lot of experience in their respective roles and are expected to play a key part in the team's success.

Overall, the new roster looks promising, and fans are eager to see how the team performs in the upcoming season. Spacestation Gaming will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing 2022 season and make a strong showing in the North America League 2023.
