Seoul to host the Valorant Champions 2024

After the VCT Masters Shanghai 2024, Riot Games has decided to stay in Asia for the last leg of 2024. The South Korean capital, Seoul, will host the fourth edition of Valorant Champions.

Scheduled from 1st to 24th August, the biggest tournament of the year will feature 16 teams from the four International Leagues.

It will be the first time for South Korea to host a Riot-sponsored Valorant event. Also, only the second time for Asia Pacific as a whole, with China hosting the first with VCT Masters Shanghai 2024 that will follow the first split of International Leagues.

These sixteen teams that will receive the ticket to the Korean capital will be divided equally amongst the regions. Out of the four teams for a single region, three will directly qualify via the International League Split II Playoffs placements.The last spot will be decided via Championship points.

More details regarding Valorant Champions 2024 will be announced in due time. The VCT 2024 season kicked off yesterday, 16th February with VCT Americas Kickoff. The first game of VCT Pacific Kick//off between T1 and BLEED is currently underway.
