The eight remaining teams in Split 2 of the LPL are headed for the Playoffs, setting up some exciting matchups to follows. As teams battle for a shot at the trophy and one of just two tickets to MSI 2025, the first day of the Playoffs will see Rookie and knight go toe-to-toe as two of the LPL's biggest names clash on the rift Saturday, May 31st.

The LPL Playoffs Blast Off in Style

The upcoming bout between Bilibili Gaming and Invictus Gaming at the LPL Split 2 Playoffs will represent a battle between history and ambition in the mid lane. Though Rookie has struggled to get back to the heights he displayed in his Worlds-winning days back in 2018, a good showing against the LPL's king of the mid lane could be exactly what the doctor ordered.

Knight will be coming into the match having won four of the past five trophies in the LPL. Now, though, the star mid laner will be hungrier than ever to make it to MSI 2025 and return to the international stage after his team's gut-wrenching loss to T1 at last year's Worlds Finals. Whichever way the series ends up going, the mid lane matchup between Rookie and knight is sure to be an explosive one.

All the while, other star-studded teams like Top Esports, Anyone's Legend, and JD Gaming will be eager to show they've also got what it takes to come away with the trophy.
