In the wake of the Fall Split Major, there are plenty of rumored Rocket League roster shuffles going on. With two more Splits still to come in this year, there are still plenty of new opportunities for teams to shuffle their roster and build a team that really works well together.

It’s not common to see changes in a team that’s just won a Major. This is good news for brand new fans of Gen.G Mobil1 Racing, who took the crown at the Fall Split Major. However, some of the older teams who haven’t had the same success so far this year could have changes.

Top teams at the Fall Major

The good news for Rocket League fans is that they don’t have to wait until January for more games to start! Due to the popularity of the Collegiate Rocket League, their seasons follow a similar pattern to universities.

The Fall Split Major, which took place from 8th - 11th December saw the very best teams from this Split come together to see who has the best roster so far. In fact, it was brand new team Gen.G Mobil1 Racing that came out on top with a fairly decisive victory. This means they probably won’t see any action from the Rocket League roster shuffles.

Several teams came close though including Team Secret, Moist Esports and FaZe Clan. It’ll be interesting to see if any changes are made to their teams!

Rocket League Roster Shuffles - who is going where?

It goes without saying that the more successful a team’s current roster is, the less likely they are to take part in Rocket League roster shuffles. Despite that, it has been part of the rumor mill that Brazilian player kv1, who has been playing on Team Secret since August 2022, may be moving over to FURIA.

While it may be tempting to only focus on Major teams, they’re not the be all and end all of Rocket League! In fact, it seems fairly likely at this point that US player Zineel will be replacing .ZPS in Knights.

The reasons for these things are never truly clear until official announcements are made. It’s worth remembering as well that a rumor is just that: a rumor!

FURIA Esports - everyone wants in!

Lately, it seems like the number one team to get involved in FURIA Esports. There are so many rumors flying around about who is going where that it’s time to break it down and find out who we might be seeing at the RLCS 2023 tournaments.

Currently, the US org has CaioTG1, caard and yanxnz. This long standing roster has been playing together since early 2021. However, with the possibility of CaioTG1 moving to Dignitas, they’ll need to find a replacement. The rumored players include:

  • AZTROMICK (from The Club)
  • Lostt (also from The Club)
  • Kv1 (coming from Team Secret).

Only one can fill the space that could be left by CaioTG1. Fans will certainly be keeping their eye out for what’s to come in the new year.
