Earlier today, February 1st, Patrick "PatMen" Mendoza set a VCT record for the highest ACS on a single map.

Playing against Detonation FocusMe, the former Paper Rex and current Global Esports player put up a statistical masterpiece that helped his team dominate the first map.

PatMen’s Statistical Masterpiece: 516 ACS // 6.4 K/D // 100% KAST

Facing each other in the 2026 VCT Pacific Kickoff middle bracket, Global Esports faced Detonation FocusMe. But what happened on Breeze wasn’t foreseen by either side. Playing Omen on defense, PatMen put up an absolute masterclass, completely outclassing everyone on the server.

In a total of 16 rounds of play, PatMen put up 9 multikill rounds, including an Ace, and finished the map with 32 kills and just five deaths. Even more impressive is the 100% KAST, meaning he had an impact on every round of the game. This yielded an impressive 2.76 rating on the map.

With this performance, PatMen set the record for the highest ACS on a single map for the VCT, playing against the previous record holder Meiy (509 ACS).

Win the Battle, Lose the War

Despite PatMen’s dominant map 1 and a 13-3 win, Global Esports failed to take down DFM in the end, losing the following two maps 9-13 and 8-13, effectively losing the series 1-2. PatMen’s performance also dipped quite considerably as his team struggled to close out the games.

The loss pushes GE into the lower bracket, where they will face the winner of Gen.G Esports vs. VARREL. This also means, they have to win every single game moving forward if they want to qualify for their first ever international event.
