Norb3r7 replaces KaiRON- on Virtus Pro
The defending CS:GO Major champions, Virtus Pro (Prev. Outsiders) have brought back Norb3r7 ahead of their elimination game at the Blast.tv Paris Major European RMR A. Norb3r7 will take KaiRON-’s place. The change came after Virtus Pro’s 1-2 run at the EU RMR A.
KaiRON- replaced Norb3r7 at the start of the competitive CS:GO year. KaiRON- performance with the roster has been decent. While he did not put superstar numbers, he was pulling his own weight. In the three matches played at the European RMR, KaiRON had a K/D of 20/15, 18/23 and 24/21, with the latter two being losses.
Virtus Pro took to Twitter to announce the shuffle. The change comes ahead of Virtus Pro’s elimination match against MOUZ. A loss against MOUZ will mean the elimination of the defending Champions.
In the announcement Tweet Virtus Pro wrote “Young players do not immediately adapt to the pressure of LAN events, especially important ones like RMR.” This is stated as the reason for Norb3r7 replacing KaiRON- on the roster. While KaiRON- did bring in the firepower, Norb3r7’s experience playing and winning with the team will definitely be a good change. While the decision might backfire on the team as they had previously replaced Nordb3r7 on performance issues, not changing anything might also not have worked.
With norber7 playing, the Virtus Pro roster will be as follows:
- Dzhami "Jame" Ali
- Petr "fame" Bolyshev
- Evgenii "FL1t" Lebedev
- Alexey "Qikert" Galubev
- David "n0rb3r7" Daniyelyan
- Dastan "Dastan" Akbayev (Coach)
- Aleksandr "KaiR0N-" Anashkin (Inactive)
