Former SK Gaming Mid Laner Yasin “Nisqy” Dinçer is reportedly done with the Mid Lane. The Belgian pro is reportedly set to join Team Vitality, according to the latest report by Brieuc Seeger. The Mid Laner has been riding the free agent bench since October 2024, when he parted ways with SK Gaming.

Nisqy will be replacing long-time EU support and former teammate, Zdravets “Hylissang” Galabov, following a string of poor disappointing finishes for the organization. Team Vitality concluded their Winter Playoffs run in 7th place, their poorest placement to date since joining the EU LCS back in 2016.

Hylissang Out??

The legendary support has long held the regard of the region of the highest performing supports, regularly deploying his veterancy in his signature aggressive Support style.

Unfortunately, this Winter Split has been one of the most challenging of his 12 year-long career, racking up the highest average Support death counts.

Despite many in the community considering his heydays long gone, the Bulgarian Support has continued to show flashes of his former brilliance, enough to continue battling for titles as recently as 2023, a decade into his career.

As of now, it remains to be seen if there are any more EMEA teams who still believe the fire remains, or if this is how the legacy of Hylissang will end.

Nisqy Roleswapping

Roleswapping is not an unusual move, with many pro players over the course of longer careers finding one reason or another to rekindle their passion in another role. However, Nisqy has long been considered a stellar mid-laner, and one of the better ones within the LEC. An 8-time All-Pro team talent, Nisqy will have to see if he has what it takes to extend his legacy with this latest chapter.

Time is Factor

With less than a month to go before the LEC Spring Split kicks off on the 29th of March, Nisqy will need to grind hard to acclimate to his new role. Once the season kicks off, Nisqy will need to lock horns against the best talents in the region such as Mikyx and Jun. The pressure is on, and Nisqy will need to step up – hard.

With Team Vitality’s recent string of bad finishes, scrutiny will be all the harder on him with all the pressures that come associated with a team badly looking for success, and a fanbase undoubtedly impatient for a win.
