It has been a rough couple of days for Mathieu "Maniac" Quiquerez to say the least, the French Analyst and Caster was earlier accused of ‘breaking apart a family’ by a colleague and peer.

In the past few days, multiple females colleagues of Maniac have come forward accusing the famous Counter-Strike personality of Sexual Assault.

On the back of seriousness of the accusations, multiple tournament organizers, including PGL, BLAST and ESL have decided to discontinue working with Maniac.

Let’s deep dive into this situation.

Maniac and the Sexual Assault Allegations

The first account of the misdemeanor came from Hannah Marie ZT on X/Twitter, accusing Maniac of a sexual assault.

The post details a summer Counter-Strike afterparty, where Maniac sexually assaulted the accuser. She also detailed complaining about the same with the tournament organizers and how they did not wish to send back a written confirmation for the investigation, despite them upholding the complaint.

In his reply posted on X/Twitter, he denied the allegations, while also removing himself from the EPL broadcast.

Last night, another Counter-Strike talent, Daisy, came forward, accusing Maniac of sexual assault.

Her Fiance, Jack “Jacky” Peters followed it up with the accusations witnessing the incident.

Additionally, more women came forward to Dust.us with multiple accounts of Maniac misbehaving.

With multiple such accounts coming up, BLAST has decided to remove him from broadcasting, as their investigations have upheld the accusations made. Additionally, PGL have also decided to remove Maniac from broadcasting until further notice.

With the serious accusations that were “upheld” by the BLAST investigation, it’d be tough for him to find work until he can prove his innocence. He has yet to release a statement on the update.
