The crowd favorite off-season event hosted by Mr. Valorant himself, Tarik Celik and The Mogul, Ludwig Ahgren. The Ludwig X Tarik Invitational is officially back with its second rendition.

Hosted at the Beyond the Summit studio, the event is a laid back event where players come together to enjoy their weekend and stand a chance to win $30K. Let’s look at what the tournament has in store for us.

Ludwig X Tarik Invitational 2 Teams

The tournament will be a debut for 100 Thieves’ new IGL Kelden “Boostio” Pupello and it’d be interesting to see how they fare against Cloud9.

Format, Fixtures and Schedule

The four teams will take on each other in a best-of-three double-elimination bracket. The two partnered organizations will take on the two challenger teams in the opening bracket of Ludwig X Tarik Invitational 2.

The tournament starts tomorrow, with the following opening games

  • 13th January 09:30 AM PT - Cloud9 vs. Moist x Shopify (Bo3)
  • 13th January 12:30 PM PT - 100 Thieves vs. Oxygen Esports (Bo3)
  • 13th January 15:30 PM PT - Upper Final (Bo1)
  • 13th January 16:30 PM PT - Lower Round 1 (Bo3)
  • 14th January 09:30 AM PT - Lower Final (Bo3)
  • 14th January 12:30 AM PT - Team Ludwig vs. Team Tarik Showmatch
  • 14th January 15:30 AM PT - Grand Finals.

The showmatch will feature some of the biggest names in streaming and friends of both Tarik and Ludwig. It’d be interesting to see the two friends clash.

Ludwig X Tarik Invitations 2 Predictions

With impressive talent attending the tournament, it’d be really hard to predict who’d win the tournament.

Cloud9 has been attending a lot of tournaments and only barely lost to Fnatic in the recent Red Bull Home Ground 4. Their recent results and team’s strength and adaptability makes them the frontrunners to win the tournament.

The new 100 Thieves with Boostio leading, the LxT will be their litmus test. If they can pull it off, their impressive performance will be a testament to Boostio’s leadership skills and the individual prowess of 100T players.

The two challengers teams, Moist X Shopify and Oxygen are both two of the best challenger teams that will participate in the upcoming VCL NA 2024.

Both of them have some amazing individual talent but failed to make their mark. It’d be an interesting match-up for both the teams.

Where to Watch?

The tournament kicks off tomorrow 09:00 AM PT and will feature some amazing on-air talent.

The tournament will be broadcasted on Ludwig’s YouTube Channel and Tarik’s Twitch. You can also follow the tournament on Strafe.
