League of Legends Patch 25.24B will be closing out the year, as well as laying down the groundwork for the start of next season; one which will be packed with changes. Though LoL Patch 25.24B won't be putting out anything too drastic, it will attempt to correct some of the champions that have been tearing through Solo Queue lately, while also lifting up a few other picks that have lost priority.

Let's go over everything there is to know about LoL Patch 25.24B before its official release on Thursday, December 16.

Zaahen Gets Hit

Ever since his release nearly a month ago, Zaahen has proven a little problematic. Now, Patch 25.24B will nerf the newest LoL champion across several fronts.

First up, the recast duration of Zaahen's [Q] The Darkin Glaive is being reduced by a second, while the ability's AD scaling is also being lowered. But that's not it, the champion's [E] Aureate Rush is receiving a damage nerf as well, which means that Zaahen won't pack quite the punch he used to moving forward.

Will Lux Become a Menace?

Perhaps the biggest winner of the new patch will be none other than Lux. Expect the champion to start hitting like a truck as we close out the year, particularly later into her games.

LoL Patch 25.24B will be buffing Lux's AP scaling across both her [P] Illumination and [Q] Light Binding. This means that, if you get hit by Lux's Q in the late game, you may as well kiss the colors on your screen goodbye (as if that wasn't the case already).

Aatrox, Sylas, and Qiyana Exit the Jungle?

Ok, maybe they won't fully exit the Jungle, but at least the won't be quite as strong in the role anymore. All three of Aatrox, Sylas, and Qiyana will receive nerfs to their Jungle monster damage modifiers in LoL Patch 25.24.

In the words of Riot Phroxzon himself:

"In preparation for a lot of the Season Start Ranked changes and general queue health, we wanted to continue making it so that there are many viable options in the jungle. This doesn’t mean that these champions need to be overpowered though!"
