The first week of the 2023 League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) Spring Split came to a close on Jan. 28 with Counter Logic Gaming, Cloud9, TSM, 100 Thieves and FlyQuest finding victories at the Riot Games Arena in Santa Monica, Calif., United States.

Counter Logic Gaming vs. Evil Geniuses

In an unexpected come-from-behind underdog win, Counter Logic Gaming beat Evil Geniuses in 44:11 while trailing 12-11 in kills. Cloud9 continued to dominate Week 1 with a 24-5 victory vs. Golden Guardians in 25:32. C9 ended with a 15k gold lead and only lost two towers to GG.
