The Legendary Genius Monster, Ryu “Keria” Min-seok, part of the now legendary ZOFGK T1 roster has decided to continue with the organization until 2026.

T1 announced the current League of Legends World Champion’s re-signing earlier today, followed by a short personal message from the 22 y.o. Pyke main, thanking the fans for their unrivaled support and hoping to dominate the upcoming years under the T1 banner.

Fourth Seed to Worlds title

The 2023 World Champions started the year with a nasty handicap. A series of DDOS attacks continued to plague the LCK team for much of their Spring Season. That said, T1 still managed to secure a 2nd place finish for themselves amidst the criticisms and poorer form (due to practice being impacted).

Even though a weakened T1 still managed to win over the rest of the LCK, however, they also continued their tradition of failing to best Gen.G in both the regular season and Playoffs.

The second place from Spring Playoffs still garnered them a MSI qualification, where they lost to the LPL first seed Bilibili Gaming.  The MSI setback was quickly followed up with an Esports World Cup win.

Domestically, T1 struggles got worse, after falling to third place in the regular season behind Gen.G and now Hanwha Life Esports, T1 placed third at LCK Summer Playoffs 2024.

The third place meant they had to qualify for Worlds 2024 via the Regional Playoffs. At the tournament, they lost the first game to Dplus KIA, but with their backs against the wall clinched the final LCK Worlds spot.

T1 at Worlds are indeed a different breed, as they only lost one game before qualifying for the Knockout stage via Swiss. In the Playoffs, they took down Top Esports, Gen.G and Bilibili Gaming to win T1 and Faker’s fifth Worlds title. ZOGFK also established themselves as one of the best rosters of all time, winning back-to-back World Championship.

ZOFGK run it back?

Given the success the roster enjoyed, they expressed their intentions to continue with the roster and achieve many more titles and accolades.

The start of the same starts with Keria’s contract extension until 2026. With Faker contract running until 2025, the T1 fans will eagerly wait for the news on Zeus, Oner and Gumayusi’s contract renewal announcements.
