JD Gaming become the final team to qualify for First Stand 2026

JD Gaming become the final team to qualify for First Stand 2026

We have our complete lineup of teams to compete First Stand 2026 at last! Having breezed past Weibo Gaming (WBG) in the Lower Bracket Finals of the LPL Split 1 Playoffs, JD Gaming (JDG) have become the final team to book their spot in São Paulo.

New Squad, Same Goals

After undergoing a complete rebuild coming into the new season, the new JDG squad did not take long to click.

Truth be told, their clash against WBG with First Stand on the line was never close. JDG came out and utterly dominated the first game, using that momentum to win a comfortable Game 2 as well. The third game of the series was a far bloodier afair, but JDG managed to win the crucial teamfight in the end to close out the series in sweeping fashion.

Though their match against WBG should serve as a nice boost in confidence, JDG still have one more match to go before their run through Split 1 of the LPL comes to a close.

A BLG Rematch

Up next, JD Gaming will have to battle Bilibili Gaming (BLG) in the Grand Finals for the trophy as well as first seed rights at First Stand.

The two teams met each other just days ago in the Upper Bracket, where BLG were able to come away with a hard-fought 3-2 victory in the end. Will JDG show enough growth to take down their rivals this time around, or will BLG come away with yet another LPL trophy ahead of First Stand?

The LPL Split 1 Grand Finals between JDG and BLG will take place Sunday, March 8, at 1 am PT/10 am CET.
