Current Support for KOI, Adrian “Trymbi” Trybus has been earmarked by Fnatic as a potential addition to their League of Legends roster for the LEC 2023 Summer Split. According to reports by blix.gg, the 22-year-old support has reached a verbal agreement with Fnatic to become their new support. This, however, means a departure for Henk “Advienne” Reijenga, who has been the Fnatic Support since the start of the LEC Spring Split. Having replaced Rúben “Rhuckz” Barbosa himself, “Advienne” will see his debut from the Academy team cut short on Fnatic in the wake of this news.

Bright Spot

For a League of Legends squad that hasn’t done to well for themselves this year thus far, “Trymbi” has been one of the few bright spots for the roster. A fairly consistent Support, he has delivered on the LEC stage countless times with the grace of a veteran. In the current League meta of enchanter supports, he has emerged as one of the leading contenders. His Lulu currently boasts an 80% winrate, whilst his Soraka and Rakan has a 66.7%. The one he seems to struggle with these days, however, is Nami, with a 28.6% winrate across 7 games.

At this time, Fnatic has not officially announced their new AD Carry. This comes off the heels of the shock announcement from “Rekkles” that he would be role swapping to Support for the Summer Split moving forwards. The leading contender for Fnatic as their new AD Carry is Oh “Noah” Hyeon-taek, current AD Carry for Serbian challenger team Zero Tenacity. The player is allegedly a hot prospect and a sought after talent for multiple LEC rosters, however, he has reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Fnatic. Fnatic for their part, have yet to confirm the reports.

Definite Upgrade

Not necessarily an upgrade in the role but rather the roster as a whole. With KOI, “Trymbi” reached 6th place at the LEC 2023 Spring Split Groups and finished 7th in the regular season. Fnatic for their part, managed to finish 6th in the regular season, however, fell short in groups, finishing last at 8th place. Inconsistency still plagued the Fnatic roster despite the massive improvement over their Winter Split run, and these changes ahead of the Summer Split look to address some of the issues, mostly centred around the bot lane duo.

For “Advienne” fans, however, fret not. For Fnatic and KOI have not just agreed to the transfer of “Trymbi.” Rather, they have enacted a player swap, with “Advienne” set to head to KOI for the Summer Split 2023.

At this time, Fnatic’s active roster consists of:

  • Óscar “Oscarinin” Muñoz Jiménez (Top)
  • Iván “Razork” Martín Díaz (Jungle)
  • Marek “Humanoid” Brázda (Mid)
