GamerLegion has recently finalized their roster by announcing the signings of Sebastian "volt" Maloș and Sanzhar "neaLaN" Iskhakov. The duo replaces Mihai "iM" Ivan and Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek, who departed for Natus Vincere and MOUZ, respectively. This move comes after GamerLegion showcased their skills and potential during the BLAST Paris Major, solidifying their position as one of the top teams in the European tier two circuit.

Volt's Impressive Performance at BLAST Paris Major

Volt, a talented player, caught the attention of many during the BLAST Paris Major. He played a crucial role in Into the Breach's outstanding performance, helping the team exceed expectations by reaching the grand final. Despite entering the Legends Stage as the lowest-ranked squad, their exceptional run led to the departure of GamerLegion's key players, siuhy and iM, who were recruited by larger organizations in the off-season. Volt, with a remarkable 1.08 T-side rating, contributed significantly to Into the Breach's success. Prior to this, he gained recognition during his time with fnatic Rising, where he achieved a 1.10 rating over seven months and contributed to winning the WePlay Academy League title.

NeaLaN's Journey to GamerLegion

NeaLaN, an in-game leader, joins GamerLegion following an underwhelming period with Evil Geniuses. Despite his efforts, the North American organization experienced limited success internationally, with their second-place finish at the IEM Road to Rio Americas RMR being their most notable result during NeaLaN's tenure. He garnered a 0.96 rating during his time with Evil Geniuses. Before his stint with the NA team, NeaLaN spent two years with K23, earning victories in various tier two European events such as the Pinnacle Winter Series and Funspark ULTI Europe Playoffs.

GamerLegion's Current Lineup and Coach

The new GamerLegion lineup consists of the following players:

Frederik "acoR" Gyldstrand from Denmark

Sanzhar "neaLaN" Iskhakov from Kazakhstan

Nicolas "Keoz" Dgus from Belgium

Isak "isak" Fahlén from Sweden

Sebastian "volt" Maloș from Romania

Ashley "ash" Battye from the United Kingdom serves as the team's coach.

Conclusion

With the acquisitions of volt and neaLaN, GamerLegion aims to maintain their strong performance in the competitive CS:GO scene. The team's success at the BLAST Paris Major demonstrated their potential, and they look forward to continuing their journey with the new additions to the roster. Fans are eager to see how the team will fare in future tournaments with their revamped lineup.

There is a cruel irony at the heart of Team Falcons' CS2 project. Hand someone from 2022 their current roster sheet — NiKo, m0NESY, TeSeS, Kyxsan, kyosuke, all under the tutelage of five-time Major-winning coach Zonic — and they would confidently declare this team the undisputed best in the world. And yet, here we are in March 2026, watching Falcons get knocked out of BLAST Open Spring in the quarterfinals by PARIVISION.
