Former NRG and VCT Americas player Austin “crashies” Roberts as the newest addition to their lineup. Crashies is set to temporarily sit in for Leo “Leo” Jannesson, whose health is likely to prevent his appearance in time for Fnatic’s 2025 season-start in VCT EMEA.

It has not been outright confirmed that crashies will replace Leo for the VCT EMEA season start or any of the later tournaments for that matter, and his addition to the roster appears to be a temporary measure in the event that it becomes impossible for Leo to start for the team during 2025.

Leo Likely to miss VCT EMEA Season Start Again

Health issues continue to plague Fnatic’s star rifler as the EMEA team is once again forced to field a replacement in his stead. Fnatic’s Senior Team Director, Colin “Cojo” Johnson, assured that the measure was a temporary one, meant to fill in for Leo while awaiting his uncertain return.

It was also confirmed by Cojo that Leo would continue to be a member of the Fnatic roster, and was adamant that Fnatic staff were “doing everything [they] can in the background to support his recovery.”

Crashies for his part, recently ended a 2-year run with NRG. Prior to that, he famously played for Team Envy and OpTic Gaming in the North American VALORANT competitive scene. His addition to the Fnatic squad is an interesting prospect, adding to the growing list this off-season of former VCT Americas players making the hop across the pond.

How the differing regional styles will find synergy this upcoming VCT EMEA 2025 will be the highlight of the early matches.

  • Kajetan “kaajak” Haremski
  • Austin “crashies” Roberts
  • Leo “Leo” Jannesson (Inactive)
  • Chris “Elmapuddy” Tebbit (Head Coach)
