ESL One Bangkok 2024 Format

ESL One's final LAN event of the year will follow a format similar to its previous tournaments. It will feature a group stage and playoffs.

In the group stage, the twelve participating teams will be divided into two groups of six. Each team will play a round robin best-of-two series against every other team in its group, with tiebreakers (if needed) being the only exception. The top two teams from each group will secure spots in the upper bracket of the playoffs, while the third- and fourth-place teams will advance to the lower bracket. Teams that finish in fifth and sixth place will be eliminated from the tournament.

The playoffs will follow a double-elimination format. Teams in the upper bracket can lose one series and still continue in the tournament through the lower bracket. However, losing a series will eliminate lower-bracket teams. All playoff matches will use a best-of-three format, except for the grand final, which will be a best-of-five showdown.

Prize Pool and EPT Points Distribution

As part of the ESL Pro Tour, the tournament will award EPT points to participating teams based on their tournament placement.
