Finnish Esports Organization ENCE have just announced that they were benching Valdemar "valde" Bjørn Vangså from their active CSGO roster.

Posted on their Twitter and on their website, ENCE have cited a mismatch in playstyle as the reason. This was also the reason for their poor performance over the past 6 months. They have decided to make changes for the better before the beginning of the RMR Qualifiers for the Blast Major in Paris.

"We have reached the conclusion to bench valde due to differences in his playstyle compared to the rest of the team. Unfortunately, it hasn’t clicked as well as we had hoped during the past six months, but we want to thank valde for his time with us and his contributions as a hardworking player and a great teammate. Issues regarding playstyles are hard to fix, and it’s clear we need a player whose style matches ours better. We give valde the highest recommendations, and we are sure that he will find a new strong team soon!"

- Niklas "Willkey" Ojalainen, ENCE General Manager

Currently, ENCE is competing in the CCT Central Europe Malta Finals. They have had Academy player HENU step up to the active roster for now, but are looking for a permanent replacement. This tournament will be a good chance for the youngster to showcase his talent, and maybe find a permanent spot in the team.

For now, no other team has approached valde with an offer to play, so it is likely that will also sit out the RMR Qualifiers.

ENCE thanks Valde for his time with them, and hopes he will find a new home quickly. They wish him the best of luck for the future.
