One of the greats

Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen, a Danish CS:GO legend that has many amazing feats tied to his name. The greatest number of CS:GO Majors won together with Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz, Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth and Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander, even having attended every single CS:GO Major once again with Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth and Richard "shox" Papillon. However, recently he has achieved something no other CS:GO player has ever done before. Not only does he have the highest prize money earnings of any CS:GO player, but he is also the first to breach the $2.000.000 mark, secured through his recent win with Team Vitality at the EPL Season 16.

Going through a rough patch

Dupreeh of course is most known for being part of the Astralis squad of old. That's how he got those 4 major wins to his name. However, we all know what happened to that squad. They couldn’t maintain their form and especially during the pandemic, it became clear that online play did not suit them. Dupreeh and his teammate Emil "Magisk" Reif eventually left Denmark behind, opting to play for the French Team Vitality instead. A move that made fans excited at the start, but also didn't seem to pan out that well. Disappointing results in Antwerp and Cologne would make fans speculate if the team would soon go back to full french squad again.

Back on top

Over the last few weeks however, Team Vitality and Dupreeh have not only found Magisk, but actual magic. As the team found a rhythm in Malta that we have never seen them have before. Eventually they managed to frag themselves all the way to the finals against Team Liquid. Where they secured a hard fought 3-2 victory, once again showing that Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen is, and will always be, one of the best CS:GO players ever.
