Tour 2 of the current Dota Pro Circuit is over and we now know who qualified for the upcoming Berlin Major.

This will be an important event that offers a total of 2700 qualification points for The International 12, and the 18 teams that will play in it had to go through a lot of great battles to earn their spot. In some cases, such as OG’s, they went from being close to getting relegated to finishing among the best in their league in less than a week.

Key Results From All Six Regions

This is what happened in each of the six regions featured in the Dota Pro Circuit.

Western Europe

This was by far the most exciting region to watch because it had a lot of tough battles. Even Team Liquid, who are arguably the strongest team in the world right now, lost a match and finished with a record of 6 W – 1 L. They still won the tour, but not without some rough moments.

The other three competitors that completed the list of qualified teams for the Berlin Major are Tundra Esports, Gaimin Gladiators, and OG. In OG’s case, the result was absolutely spectacular and should give hope to a lot of people who tend to give up too early. Never ever give up!

Eastern Europe

In Eastern Europe, HellRaisers (now ex-HellRaisers) proved to be invincible after changing their carry player at the end of Tour 1 and bringing in the legendary Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev. They defeated even Team Spirit and BetBoom Team, who ended up finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively.

China

In China, Xtreme Gaming won the race and nobody should be surprised by their result. At the end of Tour 1, one of the best position 4 players in the history of Dota 2 was signed in the hope that it would be beneficial for the roster. And indeed, it was.

Hu “Kaka” Liangzhi is a former TI finalist with Newbee. And at the age of 30, he has all the experience he needs to lead a team to victory. To be fair, the Chinese region is struggling at the moment, so it wasn’t that hard for Xtreme to win.

The other 3 teams that qualified for the Berlin Major are PSG.LGD, Invictus Gaming, and Team Aster.

North America

In North America, the result was identical to that of Tour 1. TSM won with a perfect record while Shopify Rebellion finished 2nd. Everyone else was miles away.

South America

In South America, just like in NA, everything was identical to Tour 1. Beastcoast won while Evil Geniuses finished 2nd.

Southeast Asia

In SEA, Talon Esports confirmed their strength by winning with a perfect record. The 2nd and 3rd place teams were Execration and Team SMG. Quite shockingly, Geek Slate got relegated.
