Tour 2 of Dota Pro Circuit 2023 has begun in Division II and at least one region will be very exciting to follow. Some of the greatest teams in the history of the game were relegated at the end of Tour 1 and that creates a lot of great opportunities for viewers.

Apart from those teams, such as Team Secret and Alliance, we also have Old G joining Western Europe’s Division II. This is Sebastien “Ceb” Debs’ new project and everyone wants to see if he is capable of succeeding at this level despite being retired.

Division II Predictions for Tour 2 WEU

The biggest battles in Tour 2 Division II will take place in Western Europe. This region’s second division could easily be another region’s first division. That’s how strong the teams are.

The biggest competitors in this league are the ones already mentioned:

  • Team Secret
  • Old G
  • Alliance

Apart from these teams, D2 Hustlers and Into The Breach are also pretty strong and should not be underestimated.

Based how what we saw in Tour 1 and in the qualifiers for Tour 2, Team Secret and Old G are the top two favorites. On paper, they have the strongest rosters and should prove capable of getting promoted to Division I.

Other Regions

The other regions are not as hyped as WEU, but they’re still worth following, especially if you’re a fan of one of the participants.

In Eastern Europe’s Division II, Nemiga Gaming and Ivan “VANSKOR” Skorokhod’s team, Sigma.YNT, are the big favorites.

In China, iG.Vitality and Piggy Killer are likely to do well, but the battle will be fierce because a lot of teams and players are of roughly the same strength.

In Southeast Asia, BOOM Esports, Myth Avenue Gaming, and SPAWN Team will likely end up fighting among themselves for the two available Division I spots.

In North America, Fart Studios and The Cut are easily the strongest teams, but The Oversight could also cause problems. The first of these three teams has Brian "BSJ" Canavan on the roster, who is one of the best Dota 2 content creators in the world.

And finally, in South America’s Division II, we have Infamous and Ravens. Both teams were relegated at the end of Tour 1 and there’s nobody who can seriously challenge them.
