It hasn’t been long since Jang "EMENES" Min-soo dropped his ‘Donezo Manifesto’ while leaving Cloud9 and League of Legends for good. Additionally, the day before they also confirmed three more years of Jungler Robert “Blaber” Huang.

Today, Cloud9 has welcomed back Philippe “Vulcan” Laflamme to the roster. The Canadian support player has previously played with the team back in the 2020 and 2021 season. With the squad, Vulcan won two LCS spring titles in 2020 and 2021. Unfortunately, C9 struggled internationally.

After his stint with Cloud9, Vulcan played with Evil Geniuses. With EG, Vulcan won his third LCS title, the EG squad along with Jojopyun placed 3rd-4th at the Mid-season Invitational 2022. They could not replicate their success at the Worlds 2022.

The year of 2023 was full of struggles for Vulcan and EG. After placing fourth in the LCS, Vulkan was dropped and he later joined FlyQuest. With FlyQuest, Vulkan placed 9th in an all-time low placement.

The Cloud9 LCS 2024 squad will be:

  • Top: Ibrahim “Fudge” Allami
  • Jungle: Robert "Blaber" Huang
  • Mid: Joseph "Jojopyun" Pyun
  • ADC: Kim “Berserker” Min-cheol
  • Support: Philippe “Vulcan” Laflamme

On the new Cloud9, Vulkan will reunite with Jojopyun. The duo played together on the Evil Geniuses and were considered an International threat.
