Last Night, The North American Organisation Evil Geniuses announced the departure of 23 y.o. Bulgarian Awper Tsvetelin "CeRq" Dimitrov. The youngster's North American Expedition started with the NRG roster, which EG later acquired. After spending five years with the roster, CeRq finally decided to move on from the roster. This adds another notable Awping F/A to the Free Agents List for the 2023 season.

CeRq's North American Dream:

Tsvetelin "CeRq" Dimitrov started his career at age sixteen for WinFaction. Taking up the Awp for the team, he developed a reputation for his Awping early on. His awping prowess landed him on Outlaws, A Bulgarian squad. While the squad only lasted a year before disbanding, CeRq already made a name for himself by catching the eyes of multiple people.

One such offer was from North American NRG Esports, and thus CeRq's American Dream began. Joining the team in 2017, CeRq saw NRG struggle in the initial days, and he was there to fill up for the departure of German talent gob b, LEGIJA, and tabseN. While the team was a good NA team, they had difficulty cracking S-Tier LAN events together.

With Brehze, CeRq, Ethan, Daps, and Fugly, the team struggled to keep up with the results. In 2019, Stanislaw and Tarik joined the roster in place of Daps and Fugly. EG later acquired this roster. It was EG's first CSGO squad. Valens joined the team as an Analyst, and the team started clicking. Shortly after playing under the banner, the team won ESL ONE: New York 2019, Star Series I League, and placed 3rd&4th in the Epicenter 2019.

The team struggled and tapped out in the 9th-12th position at the final LAN of 2020. The team secured ESL ONE Cologne Online and Blast Premier: Spring 202 Americas Finals in the Online Era. But 2021 just brought disasters. The roster underwent multiple changes bringing Stewie and Autimatic in 2022 to reinvigorate the roster, but the lack of results took a toll on the roster and CeRq. Finally, Yesterday, EG announced the departure of CeRq from the roster.

Many speculated the move as CeRq wasn't part of EG's starting lineup for Blast Premier Spring Group 2023. While uncertainty clouds EG, with the departure of Cerq, only Brehze from the Original roster remains. The team is still struggling to find any form and was called one of the biggest North American disasters. Wiz, viz or Jeorgesnorts will likely fill up CeRq's spot at the Spring finals. The organisation has registered seven players for the Spring finals. They are as follows:

  • Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte
  • Timothy "autimatic" Ta
  • Sanzhar "neaLaN" Iskhakov
  • Jadan "HexT" Postma
  • Jerric "wiz" Jiang
  • Wesley "viz" Harris
  • Jeorge "jeorgesnorts" Endicott
  • Denmark Daniel "Vorborg" Vorborg (coach)

Another Early Exit, Same Old Story: Team Falcons Are Running Out Of Excuses

There is a cruel irony at the heart of Team Falcons' CS2 project. Hand someone from 2022 their current roster sheet — NiKo, m0NESY, TeSeS, Kyxsan, kyosuke, all under the tutelage of five-time Major-winning coach Zonic — and they would confidently declare this team the undisputed best in the world. And yet, here we are in March 2026, watching Falcons get knocked out of BLAST Open Spring in the quarterfinals by PARIVISION.
