After the announcement of Coaches Sykko and Kaplan, along with Zekken as their first player, Sentinels are set to acquire Pancada and Sacy from LOUD to fill the roster. Along with dephh as the IGL, which was reported earlier.

The 2022 Valorant Champions LOUD

2022 Valorant Champions LOUD

LOUD was a Brazilian superteam throughout the VCT 2022 season and is undeniably the best Brazilian team in the world. The team completely dominated the domestic scene, winning the VCT Challenger event.

Their strength translated to the international stage, too, with LOUD making it to the Grand Finals of VCT Masters Reykjavik 2022 but falling short of Optic Gaming.

Optic Gaming once again proved to be a thorn in LOUD's side when Optic managed to eliminate LOUD from the Group stage of VCT Masters Copenhagen. But LOUD exacted their revenge when they managed to defeat Optic Gaming in Istanbul to crown themselves as the Valorant Champions 2022.

With the win, they cemented themselves as one of the region's strongest teams and the fan base was selected for the Valorant Partnership program 2023. With the roster winning the tournament and having consistently good results, It seemed like the roster would stick together.

Still, some weeks ago, The LOUD coach, bZkA, announced that he was benched from LOUD, and soon after, Saadhak Tweeted about the possibility of a disbanding. While the roster intended to stick together, The conditions and the negotiations were to affect that heavily.

Sentinels and "Come to Brazil"

Sentinels are known for poking fun and not taking themselves seriously. This came with a consequence when ShahZam poked fun at Brazilian fans who unfairly criticised them following a victory against Furia.

Zombs doubled down on the joke replying to ShahZam's Tweet with "Can't wait to beat your shit region agian." The Brazilian fan base lashed out at the Sentinels, calling them out and replying to the tweets with "Come to Brazil."

The criticism only worsened when Sentinels lost to KRU to be eliminated from the Valorant Champions Group stage. Many Brazilian fans calling it Karma.

Pancada and Sacy to Sentinels:

With Saadhak hinting at the complex negotiations, George Geddes reported the addition of Pancada and Sacy to Sentinels last night. Pancada was statistically the best controller at the Valorant Champions, and Sacy has always been the superstar in LOUD and is one of the best Sova/Fade players in the world.

Both players were crucial for LOUD's tournament run, and Pancada was undoubtedly the team's best player on LOUD and the MVP. Sacy got the team out of multiple situations as a clutch player.

With Zekken already announced and dephh as the IGL, Sentinels adding Pancada and Sacy makes a solid roster. Sentinels are also planning to retain Tenz and will round out the roster.

Dapr was offered a substitute role by Sentinels and is allowed to look for better offers. Weltis, the analyst for Sentinels, is also "allowed to explore his options."

With the reports, the 2023 VCT Sentinels roster will likely be as follows:

  • Tyson "TenZ" Ngo
  • Michael "dapr" Gulino (Sub)
  • Rory "Dephh" Jackson
  • Zachary "zekken" Patrone
  • Gustavo "Sacy" Rossi
  • Bryan "Pancada" Luna
  • Don "SyykoNT" Muir (Head coach)
  • Adam "Kaplan" Kaplan (Coach)
