GAMES FORMAT
The two first phases of the BLAST Major Paris 2023, Challengers and Legends Stages, use the Swiss format, which pits teams with the same campaigns against each other in each round.
The Challengers Stage features the 16 teams with Contenders and Challengers status.
Eight of them qualify and join eight other Legends teams for the Legends Stage.
In both phases, three victories are necessary to advance to the next stage, as well as three losses to be eliminated.
The decisive matches, which result in qualification or elimination, are best-of-three games (BO3) while all others are in best-of-one (BO1).
At the end of the Legends Stage, eight teams advance to the Champions Stage, a single-elimination knockout starting from the quarterfinals, without upper and lower brackets. All matches are best-of-three games (BO3).
