Welcome to Accor : Blast.tv Paris Major Quarterfinals 1 Recap
The Accor Arena was filled with the passion and roar of Counter Strike as the Quarterfinals of the Blast.tv Paris Major commenced on the 18th of May. 2 teams have moved one step closer towards the trophy, while 2 others are sent home empty handed.
Game 1: Heroic vs Faze Clan
Heroic took the first spot of the Semi Finals, as they beat Faze Clan 2-1 in the series.

- Heroic picked Overpass
- Heroic removed Ancient
- FaZe removed Inferno
- Mirage was left over
Nuke was a very CT-dominant game. Faze started off strong in the first half, but then Heroic turned the tables. They had a 9 round win streak on their CT-side, as they ended the half 10-5. Stavn kicked off the second half in style with an Ace with the pistols. Heroic kept their streak going before Faze would answer back. They managed to get to 11 as Heroic get to Map Point. Faze pushed all the way to 14, but in the end, it’s Heroic who took the map 16-14.
Faze answered back on Overpass. With a dominant CT-side, the international roster ended the first half 10-5. They kept this momentum going, as they pushed all the way to Map Point. But sjuush pulls off an incredible Ace to keep Heroic in the game. Heroic managed to pull out a 7 round win streak, but Faze ended it all at 16-12.
However, Heroic would have none of it on Mirage. Showing Paris a CT masterclass, the danes ended the first half 12-3. Faze could only claw back 3 more rounds on their own CT-side, before Heroic won the map 16-6.
It was stavn and Cadian leading the kills tally at 61, but the former sits on top with a .120 rating.
Game 2: Team Vitality vs Into the Breach
Vitality managed to secure the second Semi Finals spot of the day, after beating ITB 2-1 in the series.

- Vitality picked Anubis
- Vitality removed Inferno
- Into the Breach removed Overpass
- Mirage was left over
ITB started off on Vertigo very decently. They managed to push Vitality’s defense to the limit, and end the first half 9-6. However, Vitality answered back with a T-side masterclass, where they only allowed the British outfit to win only 2 rounds. The French org win the map 16-11.
Vitality started off strong on Anubis, as they kept on showing off their T-side prowess. They ended the first half 9-6. ITB did manage to equalize in the second half at 10-10. But it was short lived, as Vitality again took the lead. ITB could only take back 2 more rounds, before the Yellow Bees took the map 16-12.
French wonder boy ZywOo put on a show for his home crowd, as he topped the table with 46 kills, and a 1.45 rating.
Heroic and Vitality have moved on to the Semi Finals of the Blast.tv Paris Major.
