Round 5 was the final round of the Legends Stage of the Blast.tv Paris Major. And it absolutely did not disappoint. The final 3 teams moving on to the Champions Stage have been fixed, while the last 3 teams will go home.

All of the Round 5 Matches were BO3.

Round 5:

Game 1: Natus Vincere vs Faze Clan

As the European giants were pitted against each other, fans were treated to a spectacle of Counter Strike. NaVi started off strong on Overpass. They managed to end the first half 9-6, and capitalized on this lead. They did not allow Faze to move up too much, as they won the map 16-13.

But then Faze had a very dominant game on Mirage. NaVi were left scrambling for strats on their T-side. And they were not able to do much on their CT-side either, as Faze swept the map 16-5.

Final map was Anubis, where both teams gave everything to survive in the final CSGO Major. First half was quite even, with NaVi managing to take the lead 8-7. They also managed to get to Map Point first, but Faze made the comeback, and pushed the map into Overtime. Both teams traded rounds back and forth, but it was Faze who came out on top at 22-19.

Faze Clan have beaten Natus Vincere to make their way into the Champions Stage.

Game 2: Fnatic vs Into the Breach

Fnatic took on Into the Breach for a shot at Champions, but it seemed like the Swedish outfit bit off more than they could chew. Map 1 was Inferno, where Fnatic had a very dominant start at 10-5 in the first half. ITB did try to fight back, but to no avail, as Fnatic won the map 16-12.

However, ITB bounced back on Overpass, where they had a very dominant game. Only allowing one single round through on their CT-side, ITB ended the first half 14-1. Fnatic started off the second half with a 7-round win streak, but ITB managed to the get the 2 remaining rounds to win the map 16-8.

CYPHER started off Map 3 with a bang as he got an Ace in the pistol round on Vertigo. After that, it was plain domination from ITB. Fnatic did not have any answers for what was being thrown at them. ITB ended the first half 12-3, and won the map 16-4.

Into the Breach have qualified to the Champions Stage after beating Fnatic.

Game 3: Apeks vs Ninjas in Pyjamas

It was a fierce fight for the final spot in the Champions Stage, as Apeks took on NIP. starting things off in Vertigo, it was a very T-sided affair. Both teams had a decent T-side, but it was Apeks to get to Map Point first. But NIP managed to push the map into Overtime. However, Apeks were the better side, and won the map 19-17.

Moving on to Ancient, it was a similar story, but on the CT-side. NIP ended the first half 12-3 on their CT-side, but Apeks managed to make the comeback possible, winning 12 rounds of their own on their CT-side, and pushed the map into Overtime. From there, it was easy pickings, as they won the map 19-16.

Apeks have claimed the final spot in the Champions Stage of the Blast.tv Paris Major 2023, after beating Ninjas in Pyjamas.

Another Early Exit, Same Old Story: Team Falcons Are Running Out Of Excuses

There is a cruel irony at the heart of Team Falcons' CS2 project. And yet, here we are in March 2026, watching Falcons get knocked out of BLAST Open Spring in the quarterfinals by PARIVISION.
