Round 4 High Matches:

Game 1: Faze Clan vs Forze

Faze Clan started off yet another day at the Blast.tv Paris Major, as they faced and beat Forze 2-0 to take the spot in the Legends Stage. Overpass was quite dominant in the beginning for Faze, as they ended the first half 12-3. Forze did try to pull back in the second half, winning 9 rounds in a row, but it wasn’t enough, as Faze close out the map 16-12.

Faze started off Nuke in style as Twistzz opens the map with a pistol Ace. They had a much better CT-side in the second half, which helped them to take the win 16-11.

Game 2: Apeks vs paiN Gaming

Apeks advanced to the Legends Stage after a tough three-map match against paiN. Apeks started strong on Ancient, dominating the T-side and winning 16-11. paiN bounced back on Vertigo with a solid T-side, winning 16-13. The decider on Anubis was closely contested, with both teams relying on their CT-sides, but Apeks came out on top with a decent T-side and won 16-9.

Game 3: Grayhound vs Ninjas in Pyjamas

NIP managed to sweep Grayhound 2-0 in their series to take the final spot of the Legends Stage of the day. Both teams started off on Mirage, where NIP were just simply better. Headtr1ck put on the match of a lifetime, as he sat at the top of the table with 30 kills, 21 of those from the AWP. NIP won the map 16-11.

Inferno was another NIP sided affair, as Grayhound only managed to get a few rounds in between. The Ninjas took the map 16-12.

Forze, paiN Gaming and Grayhound will have to play one more round in order to secure the last 3 spots in the Legends Stage.

Round 4 Low Matches:

Anubis started off as a balanced affair, but Monte soon turned the tides in their favor with a strong T-side. They won the map 16-12.

Game 2: OG vs GamerLegion

GamerLegion sent OG home after winning the match 2-1. In the first map, Overpass, both teams were evenly matched, but GamerLegion prevailed 16-13 with a strong CT-side. OG bounced back on Mirage, winning 16-8 with an impressive defensive performance. However, GamerLegion dominated on Ancient, winning 10 consecutive rounds on their T-side and securing the map 16-7.

Game 3: Complexity vs Team Liquid

The final game of the day was between the two NA teams fighting for survival. Team Liquid managed to come out on top of this NA derby as they won the series 2-0. Liquid started off strong on Anubis, as they had a 9 round win streak right off the bat. Complexity did try to fight back, but it was Liquid’s map at 16-11.

Map 2 was Overpass, where Liquid had a dominant first half. Not allowing Complexity a single round win in the first half, Liquid ended their CT-side a perfect 15-0. Complexity could do little from their position, as Liquid finally took the win 16-3.
